On the morning of september 30th, 2014, Jiangsu Haixin shipping heavy industry Co., Ltd held signature delivery ceremony for the Yangtze River Estuary 4000 horsepower tug in Hengsha base of Yangtze River Estuary Waterway Bureau，which was invested by The Yangtze Estuary Waterway Administration of Transportation Department and designed by Shanghai Jiahao Marine Engineering Design Co., Ltd. The tug with good towing capacity、stability、maneuverability，and with rudder propeller device. It was mainly used for shifting and towing of dredger in the Yangtze River Estuary.The ship's main propulsion system is double main diesel engine and double rudder propeller device. The main diesel engine belongs to the type of 4000HD irreversible medium speed diesel engine. The flywheel end of each main propulsion diesel engine drives two Z type rudder propeller device by high elastic coupling、transmission short shaft、universal shaft coupling、intermediate shaft. The pushing and rotating device can be remote controlled 360 degrees rotation in the cab.
