On September 22th, Zhang guohua, the Secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Nantong, the mayor of Nantong, paid a visit to Haixin shipyard for special research and investigation on the development of open economy, accompanied by the delegation headed by Jianglong, the Secretary of Municipal Party Committee of Haimen, and Yang caoming, the mayor of Haimen. During the visit, Zhang guohua listened the condition of site construction as well as the current production status for Haixin shipyard, encouraged Haixin shipyard to speed up construction and make profits as soon as practicable.
Meng xianhong, the chairman of Haixin shipyard, reported the current production progress of being-built vessels as well as the future development of Haixin shipyard.
Zhang guohua pointed out that Haimen has made great achievements and contributions to the open economic development of Nantong. As the open economic tap of Haimen, a significant part of Haimen industry, Haixin shipyard should, followed by the guidance from Central Government and Provincial Party Committee, seriously carry out all kinds of strategic plans with regard to the opening up and promote the all-round international cooperation with a new gesture. Besides, we need to further grasp the key points, namely to be aware that the industry is the basis; the project is the lifeline, to highlight that the foreign capital is the core, create our own characteristic and platform, seize the team construction. Zhang guohua expressed his wishes that Haixin shipyard lead the development of Haimen, Haimen development zone continue to lead the development of Nantong.
